Who are we? We are a husband and wife team of jewelry makers. Her, an experienced beader who's been making jewelry for over 15 years. Him a novice who's been making it for about 18 months.

Dawn, the veteran beader, is the heart and soul of Sunrise Designs. Her love of jewelry and her creativity merged into a desire to make her own jewelry, and she began making unique beaded creations and items of jewelry for friends and family over 15 years ago. Since then she's branched out into making jewelry for sale at craft shows, though her main interest has been in designing and making comissioned peices for her growing list of repeat customers.

Robert is a relative rookie. His love for his wife naturally sparked an interest in her business and eventually he discovered his own love for not only designing jewelry but seeing those designs imagined come to fruition. A natural when it comes to working in wire, his tastes when it comes to jewelry are more ecclectic, and many of his designs have a rougher, more primitive feel about them, which is why the name Primitive By Design came so naturally to him.

Our Business - Sunrise & Primitive

We are primarily in the business of making unique beaded jewelry and beaded items to order. The design and creation of comissioned pieces has always formed the bulk of Sunrise Designs' business, though we also make some items simply for craft shows and expos.

We always are always willing to entertain new ideas and/or requests, after all our customers are our lifeblood. If you have an idea for something and don't see it here, don't hesitate to email us with an idea, design, request, etc, and we'll do our level best to get back to you as soon as we can.

Custom Creations our Specialty

As we've said before, repeatedly (I know, like a broken record, right?) we specialize in consignment orders and we love taking requests. Your imagination (and wallet) are our limit.

If you have an idea for something truly unique and you can't get it done anywhere else, give us a shout. If we can't do it (lack of skill, lack of time, lack of access to a Large Hadron Collidor, etc.) , we'll let you know. IF, however, we can do it? We'll let you know that too!
