Below is a selection of the items that Primitive by Design currently offers for sale. These are featured items which I am currently promoting. At this time I'm also in the process of getting our full catalog put online which should be done in the coming weeks (hopefully before Thanksgiving). In the meantime this page will have a selection of items from our inventory and I'll make sure to update it (and the wife's page) frequently.

Item #687 - Agate Primitive
This necklace is one of my favorites, simple but elegant. Natural, semi-precious Agate oval slices are paired with recovered carved mahogany wood squares and strung on woven hemp cord. The unpolished Agate catches the light beautifully and glows with an inner warmth in daytime. A beautiful bargain at the current price.

Item #713 - Cave Girl
Carved barrel cut and cylinder cut mahogany beeds are strung on a heavy multi-strand raw hemp cord. The centerpiece of the necklace is the pendant - carved bone beads are paired with two distinctive magnesite 'teeth'. The heavy copper toggle clasp balances the entire piece. The stone totem is a wonderfully feeling piece. A hand carved greenstone pendant suspended by hand-turned antique copper wire on a woven suede leather thong. Fit for man or woman, and a beautiful bargain to boot!

Item #686 - Onyx + Pearls
A departure from my normal primitive designs in many ways, the rough look of the polished semi-precious Onyx chips are still primal enough to offset the natural beauty of the dark pink freshwater Pearls.Primitive elegance at it's finest.

Item #788 - Mesa
Mesa, the cousin to Adobe, is an elegante piece using fired clay and ceramic beads. The blue-green fired clay beads, often with touches of reddish brown, match perfectly with the large Brown ceramic beads at the heart of the necklace.

Item #801 - Tiger Eye
Simply named but hardly a simple necklace. The body of the necklace is composed of semi-precious Tiger's Eye heishi beads separated by bone roundels. An antique copper toggle clasp completed this simply elegant but still quite primitive, design.

Item #698 - Bones & Leather
Three carved bone tubes are paired with painted bone roundel beads and mounted on a woven leather wristband and fitted with antiqued copper findings. It'll look good on men or women, but note the size.

Made with kiln fired ceramics that have a distinctive ash glazed look about them, this set is appropriately nicknamed "Adobe" for the Southwestern feel it evokes.
